A source confirmed to People that “Al was rushed to the hospital after Thanksgiving” via an ambulance.

“His condition was worrying, but once back in the hospital he improved,” Page Six reports.

The news outlet also reports that Al‘s wife Deborah Roberts attempted to break into their Tesla, which had malfunctioned, to retrieve her phone and other belongings that were locked in the car, in order to follow the ambulance to the hospital.

“His wife, Deborah, was understandably very upset,” sources told Page Six. “She had left her phone and other possessions inside their Tesla, which had malfunctioned and wouldn’t unlock, so she was trying to smash in a window.”

The sources continued, “Deborah then went to the hospital by taxi with her daughter, where Al has since been surrounded by his family.”

We wish Al Roker a speedy recovery.
