Dakota Johnson has a bleach blonde bob in new pics

[ad_1]

Is Dakota Johnson following in her mother Melanie Griffith and her grandmother Tippi Hedren’s footsteps and going blonde? Everyone’s favorite nepo baby (no, really, we love her) was just spotted with a platinum bob, but since she’s on a movie set, it miiiight be a wig.

Johnson is best known as a brunette, keeping her hair somewhere in the “chocolate” range ever since her Fifty Shades days. But true DakotaHeads know that she started her career as a blonde! See: the short-lived sitcom Ben and Kate, her one scene in The Social Network, and her appearance on The Office finale. Clearly, she’s not averse to mixing things up, which is why these new pictures leave us wanting the truth, Ellen. Don’t lie to us the way you did about the limes!

In October, Johnson was seen filming the upcoming Spider-Man spin-off Madame Web, with her now-usual long, dark hair and bangs.

But in December, she was spotted filming a different movie in New York, Daddio, co-starring Sean Penn, from writer-director Christy Hall. Per IMDb: “A woman takes a cab ride from JFK and engages in a conversation with the taxi driver about the important relationships in their lives.”

I couldn’t find anything online to suggest that Madame Web is done filming (it’s not due in theatres ’til 2024), which makes me think that for continuity’s sake, the producers would want Dakota Johnson to wig it on any other projects until reshoots are out of the way. Then again, if she’s got a wig on MW, maybe she did go blonde for Daddio? It is also possible that they are both wigs and Dakota’s real hair is a secret. In any case, I’m sure Alexandra Daddario would be very grateful if Dakota would blonde it up for a little and clear some space in the brunettes-with-blue-eyes game.
