Is Mia Thornton quitting her role on The Real Housewives of Potomac following her dramatic encounter with Wendy Osefo?

After taking to her Twitter page last month to tell fans she has to “move on” and suggest that she is no longer committed to Bravo, noting that she has to do what’s best for her “brand [and] partners,” Mia appeared on a podcast, where she confirmed what her cryptic messages really meant.

“I, by all means, wouldn’t go to social media to announce that I’m leaving the show, right? But I was making an announcement that I just don’t have time to feed into everyone’s comments and opinions because I have to do what’s best for my businesses, my partners, my investors, my kids, my family, my friends who are all heavily affected,” Mia explained during the December 2 interview on Hollywood Life’s Pay Attention Puh-Lease! podcast.

“You know, just because I can accept public scrutiny — I signed up for it, right? — doesn’t necessarily make it fair for people to go out and attack my partners,” she continued. “I have to do what’s best for them because that’s just the type of person that I am, and I just don’t think it’s fair.”

After first telling her fans and followers after her fight with Wendy, “For the sake of my children, my family, friends, staff, and business partners, I have to move on,” Mia deactivated her Twitter account but returned to the social media platform shortly thereafter with a second message.

My actions toward Wendy was intolerable,” she admitted. “It’s unfortunate that you will attack my family, friends, and my businesses based on an edited tv show. While I was committed to drama and entertainment, I must do what’s best for [my] brand & partners. Much love, Mia.”

But when Hollywood Life asked her point blank if she was leaving the show or not, Mia made it clear that she will not be quitting anytime soon.

“[Bravo’s] going to have to fire me [for me to leave the show],” she stated regarding her future with the network.
