A xXx Video Game With Co-Op Must Include Vin Diesel & Ice Cube

If a xXx video game ever happens, it should feature co-op options that let players control Vin Diesel and Ice Cube’s characters from the xXx movies.

A xXx video game is an exciting prospect, and having one that featured both Vin Diesel and Ice Cube as their respective characters would make it even better. Both actors have had leading roles in the franchise, and Ice Cube’s Darius Stone and Vin Diesel’s Xander Cage could make the perfect pair for co-op. Both actors have been in games before, too, so it seems like the odds would be good for them to star in a new xXx video game.

Featuring high-octane action and stunts, the xXx movies have had a lot of success – and a xXx video game would be a great way to cash in. It’s been a while since Ice Cube voiced a character in a video game, but he’s been featured in games like Call of Duty: Black Ops, where he played Joseph Bowman. Appearing in numerous games already, Vin Diesel’s next video game will be Ark 2, which is using both his likeness and voice.

If a xXx video game were to happen, it’s likely that the main campaign would take place between the films – or perhaps even help set up xXx 4. However, co-op multiplayer has become an important gameplay mechanic for a wide variety of genres, and a xXx video game should definitely take advantage of this by allowing players to control Vin Diesel and Ice Cube’s characters together.

xXx Video Game With Co-Op Multiplayer Would Be Even Better

Co-op and multiplayer functions have become increasingly important to a video game’s longevity since it allows players to continue having fun once they beat the main story or campaign. A xXx video game with multiplayer just makes sense, but it might seem strange if Ice Cube and Vin Diesel’s characters were shooting at one another. Instead, co-op would be a great way to keep Xander Cage and Darius Stone on the same team. The original script for the second xXx movie was a buddy film that had the two teaming up and the xXx video game could actually do this.

A xXx video game could also take multiplayer one step further by allowing players to progress through the main story in co-op. Rather than relegating this kind of mechanic to another mode, both local and online co-op could be used to allow players to get through story content together as the xXx movie character of their choice. It would serve as great fan service, too, which is yet another boon co-op could provide a xXx video game. While no such game has been announced yet, the idea is an exciting one, so hopefully a xXx video game starring Vin Diesel and Ice Cube will happen sooner rather than later.
