Nicolas Cage Reveals the Broadway Role He Would Love to Play

Nicolas Cage knows what he wants to do next.

The 58-year-old National Treasure star has appeared in a variety of movie genres over the yeas. However, he’s never done a musical.

He knows exactly which musical he’d like to get involved in and even had a role in mind.

“I haven’t done a musical yet,” he told Empire. “I’d like to try that. I’m not much of a singer. I did sing okay in Wild At Heart, I thought, but I’ve since blown my voice out singing ‘Purple Rain’ incorrectly in karaoke bars.”

If he were to make a Broadway debut, he knows what he’d want to play: “I think I’d make a good Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar.” We’d love to see that now!
