RHONY’s Bethenny Frankel Shades Kim Kardashian’s New Skincare Line as “Impractical” After Sampling Products

On June 21, Kim Kardashian launched her anticipated new skincare line: Skkn by Kim. The line features nine different products, including an eye cream and exfoliator.

Bethenny Frankel, who’s never been one to hold back her opinion, sampled these two products. In the past, the Real Housewives of New York alum shared her thoughts on Kim’s views about rapid weight loss (spoiler alert: she isn’t on board).

On TikTok, Bethenny wasted no time unleashing her thoughts about the products. She called them “impractical at best” as well as “somewhat overpriced.”

According to the Bravo star, Kim’s egg-shaped eye cream had a “bulbous” packaging. The businesswoman stated, “I don’t understand it, because it doesn’t stack.”

Bethenny went on to say, “I don’t have a circular house or medicine cabinet. It doesn’t even have a flat bottom, so it’s effectively like an egg.”

She claimed the exfoliator packaging was like a Rubik’s Cube and its design was a “Wet ‘n Wild” idea.

Bethenny also shaded the exfoliator’s “gigantic” size, saying, “How are you going to travel with this?… You have to be a billionaire to use this product, because if you don’t have a private plane, how are you traveling with this? It’s just not practical.”

Bethenny then asked the question, “Is it worth the money they’re charging? Unlikely.”

In the comments, a TikTok user gave thanks to the star, writing, “You just saved me money…I travel way too much.”

A different user added, “The circle one looks like [an] EOS lip balm packaging lololol.” Bethenny then responded, “Yes I thought that.”

Bethenny had some positive comments about the eye cream itself, calling it a “luxurious product, very nice, like a melted butter consistency.” Even so, the RHONY alum claimed the cream “isn’t super rich.”

“I would feel like for this price tag it would be like Chantecaille, Sisley rich,” said the star. “It’s not Kardashian rich. It’s richer than I am, maybe, but it’s not Kardashian rich.”

Summing it up, Bethenny explained, “It’s a good quality product that’s likely somewhat overpriced but most beauty is overpriced.”
