Sam Smith Unleashes Festive Ballad ‘Night Before Christmas’ – Listen & Read the Lyrics!

Sam Smith is helping to get everyone ready for the holidays.

The 30-year-old “Unholy” pop star unveiled a new Christmas song, which will be added to their holiday compilation The Holly and the Ivy. The track – “Night Before Christmas” – is a ballad about finding love.

“Baby, this time of year / can make you feel old / but when I am with you / I don’t feel the cold,” they sing on the chorus. “So let’s dance in the kitchen and climb up the stairs / I hope when we wake up there’s love everywhere.”

“This song was written by me and my beautiful and inspiring friend Simon Aldred,” Sam explained on Instagram. “We wanted to make a Christmas song that felt like LOVE on Christmas Eve. I hope you can feel the warmth we felt when making it & I hope it gets you excited for the holiday season x”
