Which teams do you want to see on the Super Bowl LVI? Here are some expert predictions
Week 18 is finally here. This means it’s the end of the regular season and now the fun can really start. While we can look at current standings and get an idea of who best to put our money on, it really is anyone’s game. Playoff football is different from regular season football so you can expect teams to put it all on the line! While teams like the Patriots may be sitting at 10-6, they are well versed in playoff mode so I wouldn’t go counting them out just yet! Over to the Bucs and Brady is the last QB to go to back-to-back Super Bowls and we all know how he loves a drive the length of the field when there’s not much time left. With the Wildcard games starting on the 15th, it will be interesting to see just how much of an impact injuries have this year.
Super Bowl LVI Best Picks
We can argue this to the death, but standings don’t lie. Currently, some teams look like a better choice to make it to the Super Bowl than others. For instance, going into week 18, the Packers are 13-3, whereas the Bills are 10-6! It may be only a 3-game difference but it does make the Packers seem like they would have better odds to make it to the Super Bowl and the Bills would. Speaking of odds, right now the top NFC teams have a better win/loss ratio than the AFC teams so we could potentially see an NFC team win the Super Bowl. It’s still too early to tell really but according to NFL.com, these are the favorites to make it to the Super Bowl.
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Green Bay Packers
- Buffalo Bills
- Dallas Cowboys
- Los Angeles Rams
- Indianapolis Colts
- Cincinnati Bengals
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Tennessee Titans
As we can see, there is definitely a strong group of contenders for the 2022 Super Bowl race. When it comes to Super Bowl betting odds, who is your money on? While NFL.com hasn’t mentioned the Patriots in their top 9, could we still see a Brady Vs Belichick Super Bowl? While the odds may not be pointing that direction, I wouldn’t count the Patriots out just yet. According to DraftKings, the Packers are the current favorites to win at +400 going into week 18. Can the Packers keep their favorable odds going into the playoffs? Only time will tell but at the moment it is looking good for them.

Wild Card and Playoff Weekends
In previous years, the NFL only allowed 12 teams into the playoffs. However, in 2020 they upped this to 14 teams which has now led to what some call the Super Wild Card weekend. The next four weekends are going to be intense as after the Wild Card weekend, we have the Divisional games, followed by the Conference Championships. I always love to see an upset in the Conference games as feel it makes the Super Bowl just that much more interesting.
Super Bowl LVI Weekend
One of the biggest single sporting events in the world will be held on February 13th at the SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, Los Angeles, California. Due to Covid, there are talks about moving the Super Bowl to the Dallas Cowboys stadium but this has yet to be confirmed! While it may seem crazy, the Super Bowl offers more than just football and an end to the NFL season. The Super Bowl also has one of the best halftime shows of any event going and the commercials even have people tuning in that wouldn’t normally watch sports. From Pepsi to Budweiser, Doritos, and many, many more – you can expect to see some of the best looking and most expensive commercials of the year. As Sports Betting is now becoming more and more popular, don’t be surprised if you see some commercials from the likes of some of the more well-known sports betting sites and sports betting apps out there!
NFL Draft 2022
While it may seem a bit early to talk about this, the 2022 NFL draft will be held in Las Vegas from the 28th-30th of April. This is always an amazing event to watch and is great to see what teams are going after players. Remember, it’s not always the first picks that make the biggest differences, sometimes it could be the 199th pick that ends up becoming arguably the best QB the league has ever seen. Heck, we could even see him in this year’s Super Bowl at the moment! The Draft is a great way for teams to get in new talent and have a little restructure and try to fix problem areas. This year there will be plenty of talent on display and expect the first picks to make some very lucrative deals!
In Closing
There is no denying that the next couple of weekends is something that most football fans look forward to all year. While it soon means the end of the season, there is nothing like watching the playoffs and Super Bowl with some family and friends while enjoying some good food. Super Bowl parties are another big aspect and most people even have their own rituals they do every year. Whether your team is in the Super Bowl or now, I am sure we are all hoping for what should be a very entertaining game. And once it is all over, we can look forward to Super Bowl LVII in 2023!
