Ruth’s Chris Steak House opens Long Beach restaurant – L.A. Business First

Ruth’s Chris Steak House has opened a new location in Long Beach, California.

The 8,075-square-foot restaurant at 180 East Ocean Blvd. features three main dining rooms, a bar with variety of high tops, an outdoor patio and two private dining rooms.

“This location is our first in Long Beach, representing an exciting expansion in Southern California that further entrenches us in the area’s fine dining scene,” Cheryl Henry, president and chief executive of Ruth’s Hospitality Group Inc., said in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming new guests, as well as those who are already familiar with and passionate about our brand.”

Ruth’s Chris (Nasdaq: RUTH) has been in business for more than 57 years and has more than 150 restaurants worldwide. It was founded by Ruth Fertel in New Orleans and also serves seafood, side dishes and desserts, cocktails and wine.

“We are honored to bring this new Ruth’s Chris location to Long Beach and serve the community and those that live in and around the area,” said Wendi Thompson, general manager for Ruth’s Chris in Long Beach. “We look forward to welcoming guests into our restaurant and showcasing the same top-notch service they’re accustomed to from the brand.”
