Arcadia police officer among 3 people shot by suspect barricaded in home

ARCADIA, Calif. (KABC) — A police officer and two other people were shot by a gunman barricaded inside a home in Arcadia Wednesday.

The suspect remains holed up inside a home in the 2500 block of Greenfield Avenue. The shooting was reported just after 6:15 p.m.

The wounded police officer was reportedly shot in the face and transported to a Pasadena hospital in unknown condition. The condition of the other people wounded in the shooting is also unclear.

Police believe that three other people, including a juvenile, were at one point inside the home but were later evacuated.

Multiple police departments responded to the residential neighborhood as nearby homes were evacuated.
