Man blocking traffic in Brooklyn attacks NYPD cops, runs off

A disorderly man blocking traffic in Brooklyn brawled with two cops who asked him to move — and then ran off, eluding arrest, police said Saturday.

The man was standing in the middle of the road near Avenue H and Flatbush Ave. in Flatbush at about 4:20 p.m. on Friday when two patrolling officers approached him, cops said.

When the man ignored the cops’ orders to move, the officers tried to arrest him.

At that point, the suspect became irate, pushing one officer and throwing the second one to the ground before slugging him in the face, police said.

The man was last seen running south on Flatbush Ave. near Avenue H, police said.

The suspect ran south on Flatbush Ave. and was still at large on Saturday night.

Police released a a photo of the man wearing dark-rimmed glasses, a denim jacket and a black hoodie with a Brooklyn Nets logo.

The cop that was punched in the face sustained swelling and bruising, while the other was unharmed.
