Monster pepper sprays mother, 2-year-old son at NYC subway station

A man blasted a woman and her 2-year-old son with pepper spray in a Bronx subway station on Wednesday, cops said.

The creep got into a dispute with two women who were already fighting on the northbound 2, 4 and 5 platform around 3:35 p.m. inside the 149th St.-Grand Concourse station, cops said.

As the quarrel escalated, he pulled out pepper spray and attempted to unload on the women — but instead hit the tot and his 30-year-old mother, who had nothing to do with the brawl, police said.

Medics rushed them to Lincoln Hospital, where they were in stable condition.

The assailant, who appeared to be in his 30s, fled on a northbound 5 train while the two women took off in an unknown direction, cops said.

He was described by cops as about 5-foot-8 with blonde dreadlocks. He was wearing all black at the time of the attack.

There have been no arrests and the investigation remains underway.

Earlier this month, a man pulled a knife on an 11-year-old girl and sexually assaulted her on a No. 4 train heading toward the 149th Street–Grand St. station.

And last month, a man unsuccessfully tried to kidnap a 10-year-old boy after it left the same station.
