U.S. Soccer angers Iran by altering Iranian flag in social media posts ahead of World Cup match

The U.S. Soccer Federation briefly posted images of Iran’s flag on its social media accounts this weekend without the emblem of the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying the move supported women’s rights as protests rock the country.
