Love Island bombshell reveals they’re returning to their ‘normal’ job

A Love Island bombshell has revealed they’ll be returning to their “normal job” as of Monday.

Scottish hunk Jay Younger, 28, appeared on the hit show this series and entered as a bombshell but he was unsuccessful at finding love.

Now, the star has revealed that he’s going to be heading back to his day job as an investment analyst and said he’s “excited” to do.

The return comes less than a month after he entered the Love Island villa, and he will also be heading back to his hometown of Edinburgh.

Jay explained: “I don’t think my life will change that much to be honest.

“I’m going back to work on Monday and sure there’s some commercial opportunities out there in the short term, but I think longer term I’ll be back at work doing my thing and back to my day job.”

He continued to tell The Mirror that his colleagues are “happy” he is doing alright after appearing on the show about “coming out unscathed.”

He said: “Hopefully I can start working hard and producing good work for them and then they’ll judge me on that!”

Jay had two months of unpaid annual leave given to him to go on the hit show, and said his work were “so cool” with him appearing on Love Island.

Since leaving the villa, hunky Jay has made appearances at events and also popped up on This Morning in bargain Burtons shorts.

He gave presenters Vernon Kay and Rochelle Humes an eyeful when flexed for viewers wearing only his bargain find.

Vernon said: “Did you just flick your pecs there young man?”

Guest presenter Lisa Snowdon joined in with the banter, commenting on how fresh faced the Edinburgh-based merchant banker was: “I was going to say, you were at the gym this morning at 6am.

Jay said: “Yeah, after the afterparty yeah.

Lisa replied: “Did you go straight from the after party to the gym?

“Yeah, I was yeah – it’s consistency.”

“It’s so he was buff for today’s show,” chimed in Vernon.
