‘SNL’: Sydney Sweeney Is The Chosen One In Hooters Sketch

Sydney Sweeney has been tapped as the chosen one. At Hooters, that is.

While hosting Saturday Night Live, the actress took on a sketch that saw her as a new waitress learning the ropes at the sports bar.

It doesn’t take long for her to begin raking in tips ($36,000 to be exact) … even though she’s pretty bad at the actual serving.

Even after she spills beer all over a table and accidentally makes a man break his sobriety, the group still offers to buy her a car.

After she receives another massive tip from a patron, one of her co-workers complains: “That is insane. I served that guy last week. When I brought the check, he patted his pockets and said, ‘Sorry, I just got laid off.’”

If it’s not the service, what could it possibly be?

Finally, her co-workers suggest that perhaps Hooters isn’t the best place for her, because she’s “making them feel bad” and taking their tips. But the chain’s mascot, Hooter B. Owl, disagrees.

“You are my Harry Potter. And this is your Hogwarts,” he says. What about the rest of them? “I don’t care,” he quips.
