When Marty McFly drove into the future in the famous 1980s movie, he made it look easy. For EV start-ups trying to leap ahead in their industry, it’s proving a lot harder.

DeLorean, the car company made famous by Back To The Future, has been reimagined by an electric vehicle maker. Its first vehicle, the Alpha 5, is due in 2024. But, there will be fewer initially made than originally imagined.
