The weekly Exotic item merchant, Xur, hangs out in random locations around the world of Destiny. In Destiny 2, he can appear all over the map, as well as inside the Tower. This week, you can find Xur in the Tower, in the Hangar, standing on the back steps.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:

  • Trinity Ghoul, Arc bow: 29 Legendary Shards
  • Raiden Flux, Hunter chest: 23 Legendary Shards
  • One-Eyed Mask, Titan helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
  • Sanguine Alchemy, Warlock chest: 23 Legendary Shards
  • Exotic Engram: 97 Legendary Shards (you can now purchase a second with an Exotic Cipher)
  • Exotic Cipher quest: free

Xur’s items drop at a similar power level as your character.

Trinity Ghoul

Trinity Ghoul is a bow from Forsaken. Its Exotic perk is Split Electron, which causes the arrow fired to split into three. When you get a precision kill with Trinity Ghoul, you’ll charge the next arrow with electricity, thanks to the Lightning Rod perk. Charged arrows chain electricity to enemies. It’s catalyst, which causes all Arc damage to proc Lightning Rod, makes it a force to be reckoned with.

Trinity Ghoul is not only one of the best bows in Destiny 2, but one of the best weapons in the game — make sure to buy it this week.

Raiden Flux

The Hunter exotic this week is Raiden Flux. This chest piece’s main perk is Synapse Junction, which causes subsequent hits from the Arcstrider staff to deal more damage and extend the duration of the Super. This is one of the best Exotics for Hunters. If you don’t have Raiden Flux, it’s worth your Legendary Shards.

Xur’s roll this week has 67 total stat points.

One-Eyed Mask

One-Eyed Mask is a Titan helmet from Forsaken, and was one of the best PvP Exotics in the game. Its Exotic perk is Vengeance. When enemies deal damage to you, you’ll mark them, allowing you to track them through walls. Killing marked targets gives you an Overshield. While One-Eyed Mask isn’t nearly as good as it once was, it’s still worth picking up for PvP-inclined players.

Xur’s roll this week has 62 total stat points.

Sanguine Alchemy

Sanguine Alchemy is a gorgeous Warlock chest with a pretty interesting perk. Blood Magic cases weapon kills to pause the timer on your Rift and extend the duration. The more kills you get, the more potent the perk becomes. While this perk does force you to stand relatively still, it can give you a prolonged health or damage advantage in some high-end content.

Xur’s roll this week has 61 total stat points.

Exotic Cipher quest

Starting in Beyond Light, Xur has a new quest for an Exotic Cipher. The Exotic Cipher lets you buy old Exotics from the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk in the Tower. You’ll need these items and some other currencies to pick up Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur wants you to complete 21 Strikes or win Crucible or Gambit matches. By finishing the quest, you’ll earn an Exotic Cipher to use however you want.
