Historic Tuxedo Park mansion lists for $8.8 million

[ad_1] A Tuxedo Park house that pre-dates World War II is on the market for the first time in decades.

The house at 50 Valley Rd. in Buckhead is for sale and priced at $8.8 million, according to a listing by Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International. Betsy Akers is the listing agent.

Akers said in an email the house is “Atlanta classic elegance at its finest.”

Investment banker George Overend and his wife Carol bought the house for $2.675 million in 1993, according to Fulton County deeds.
