Chicagoans mark one year of war in Ukraine

A ceremony in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village on Friday marked the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
It’s been a painful and life-changing year for Ukrainians who have lost loved ones and fled their country for safety. In spite of the immense bloodshed continuing to overwhelm Ukraine, Ukrainians in Chicago are standing strong and believing in victory over Russia.
