Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Train Fire in Wilmington

A fire on an approximately 100-foot long locomotive in Wilmington was extinguished in 75 minutes by 18 firefighters Friday night.
Firefighters responded at 9:31 p.m. to a freight railway yard at 920 E. Pacific Coast Highway, west of Sanford Avenue, where the locomotive was, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
There were no reported injuries.
