Heavy police activity along 405 Freeway in Inglewood causes major back-up

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — If you’re heading to the Los Angeles International Airport, expect some delays.

Traffic along the 405 Freeway is backing up in each direction near Manchester Boulevard in Inglewood due to a heavy police presence.

According to the California Highway Patrol, there’s a person on the freeway who’s threatening to jump from the overpass, though details were limited.

Two lanes are currently open on both the northbound and southbound sides of the freeway.

Drivers in the area are urged to drive with caution or seek an alternate route.
