A Metro train crashed in LA, splitting a car in half and trapping one person inside.

The Metro Blue line train crashed in the Central-Alameda area in the 1600 block of East Vernon Avenue.

A person is trapped inside the vehicle and firefighters are checking for any injuries aboard the train, the Los Angeles Fire Department reports.
