NYPD searching for gunman after man shot to death at Canal Street subway station

NEW YORK — Police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot and killed Sunday at a subway station in Lower Manhattan.

It happened at the Canal Street station at around 11:45 a.m., NYPD said.

The 46-year-old man was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.
