Don’t sleep.

An Ethiopian Airlines flight overshot its destination after the two pilots reportedly fell asleep Monday.

The Boeing 737-800 aircraft traveling from Khartoum to Addis Ababa was cruising at 37,000 feet but didn’t descend as it approached the airport in Ethiopia’s capital, CNN reported.

Air traffic controllers were unable to make contact with the pilots, according to the BBC. When they missed their descent time, an alarm went off in the cockpit.

The pilots then apparently woke up and brought the plane in safely about 25 minutes later.

“The concerned crew have been removed from operation pending further investigation,” Ethiopian Airlines told CNN in a statement. “Appropriate corrective action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation. Safety has always been and will continue to be our first priority.”
