According to The Associated Press, Yoni Barrios, 32, is accused of a stabbing rampage that left two people dead and six others wounded.

Digiovanni was a part of the Best Showgirls In Vegas modeling agency, according to owner Cheryl Lowthorp.

Digiovanni was fatally stabbed as one of the showgirls held her and was then stabbed in the back.

Witnesses told police that Barrios “thought (the showgirls) were making fun of the way he was dressed,” according to Lowthorp.

Gage Digiovanni said she grew up in Spokane and enjoyed making snowmen in the winter and watching sunsets in the summer.

Maris Digiovanni graduated in 2014 from Washington State University.

She and her husband, Cole, traveled the world as they made their way through dozens of countries.

She “always saw the best in people,” Gage Digiovanni wrote. “Always gave them a chance and always accepted people for who they were. Her capacity for love lead her to have lasting friendships from all over the world. She was a beautiful spirit and we will miss her for the rest of her lives.”

A GoFundMe has been created to support her family during this time.
