Government’s Visa overhaul ‘does contemplate the circumstances’ of asylum seekers

Immigration and Citizenship Minister Andrew Giles says the Labor government’s Visa overhaul “does contemplate the circumstances” of asylum seekers.
“We contemplate the circumstance of all these people, including a large number, ten years on who are yet to have a primary decision,” Mr Giles said.
“In a manner that is consistent with due process but fundamentally comes back to this.”
