WA’s new laws aimed at avoiding forgotten kids on buses

The State Government is set to announce new transport safety laws aimed at avoiding forgotten young children on daycare buses.

The new measures, which are due to come into effect on Wednesday and will affect all WA childcare centres, will include a staff member other than the bus driver checking children getting in and out of the vehicle ensuring nobody is trapped inside.
