Kiss-cam turns into breakup-cam at Phillies game

Things were dire on the field for the Philadelphia Phillies this weekend and not much better for some of the team’s fans.

The Phillies blew a six-run lead over the New York Mets in the ninth inning of a recent game. But even worse for a couple of Phillies fans was an apparent on-screen breakup that went viral.

SNY broadcast the clip of two fans sitting together looking rather unpleasant. As the man talks to the woman, she can be seen crying.

The Mets’ broadcast team narrated the video pretending to cover the whole conversation: “No, I want you to stay for the whole second game. They might rally, they could win,” the broadcaster said.

There was a lot of reaction on Twitter with one person saying: “Phillies fans have a break-up cam instead of a kiss-cam.”
