Bombshell twist could expose Emmerdale attack plot secret
Sally Dynevor drops huge hint she’ll QUIT Corrie
SALLY Dynevor has hinted she could leave Coronation Street after 36 years.
The 58-year-old, who plays iconic character Sally Metcalfe, admitted she couldn’t commit to staying on the soap forever and would leave when the time was right.
Sally explained: “As soon as I don’t enjoy my role any more, I’ll leave. I’m a firm believer in doing what makes you happy.
“Who knows, I might get killed off – or Steven Spielberg might knock on the door. I don’t want to say I’ll be there for ever, because you don’t know what is around the corner.”
Speaking to Prima magazine, the actress continued: “I never imagined I’d play Sally for as long as I have. It was the ideal job when my kids were little as I live 20 minutes from the studio, so I was always home for bedtime.”
It seems she has a little while longer on the Cobbles though, as she added: “But three decades on, I still enjoy it as much as when I started. From the cast and camera people to the make-up artists, we’ve grown up with one another and been there for life’s milestones – it’s like we’re a family.”
