Keir Starmer: Government has lost control of economy

Sir Keir responded to claims he is boring by saying: “I don’t shy away from the fact, when we’re facing a period of great uncertainty, we’ve got conflict in Ukraine, we’ve got a cost-of-living crisis, we’ve got a government that has lost control of the economy, do we need a serious person steering the country calmly and competently to a better future? I think the answer to that is yes.
