MIKEL ARTETA revved up his Arsenal players by telling them Manchester City tried to ‘humiliate you’ and Brentford reckon you are softies.

The Gunners boss used extreme measures to motivate his squad in fiery team talks last term.

The Spaniard turned the taunts of the opposition around – to rile up his squad.

He warned them Wolves would try “insulting” them.

But perhaps Arteta‘s sternest motivational words tackled Pep Guardiola‘s tactics for City and the mocking words of Brentford striker Ivan Toney.
