Teenager taken to hospital after stabbing in Bromley street

A teenager has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in a Bromley street last night.

Police were called to Rangefield Road at 7.14pm after reports of a teenager being “attacked with weapons.”

The boy was found with stab wounds as well as an injury to his hand.

He was taken to hospital where staff accessed his condition as non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made at this stage and a crime scene remains in place where investigations are carried out.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 19:14hrs on Wednesday, 10 August to Rangefield Road, Bromley to reports of a male being attacked with weapons.

“Officers attended and found a teenage male with stab injuries and an injury to his hand.

“He was taken to hospital; his condition is not life-threatening or life-changing.

“There have been no arrests at this time.

“Enquiries are ongoing and road closures/ a crime scene are in place.”

London Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
