Argentina World Cup Victory Parade: See Photos Of Lionel Messi & His Teammates

Argentinians are so proud of their soccer team for winning the 2022 World Cup. Team Argentina defeated France in the finals in a penalty shootout to make them the winners, and Lionel Messi was awarded with the Golden Ball trophy for his amazing skills, making him the first player to win the award twice.

Argentina’s victory marked the country’s third win, and it’s the first time that the country won the World Cup since 1986. The team also won in 1976. Throughout the 2022 tournament, Argentina fans paid tribute to Diego Maradona, who was a key part of the team winning in 1986. The soccer icon passed away in November 2020 from a heart attack.
