Cardi B Urges Caution With Cosmetic Procedures

Cardi B is speaking out about everything that has happened since she had her cosmetic procedures done.

The 30-year-old rapper was speaking out of her own personal experience and urged her fans to be very careful.

“In August I got surgery and I removed 95% of my biopolymers… if you don’t know what it is, it’s a– shots. It was a really crazy process,” she said in an Instagram live video.

“All I’m going to say is that if you’re young, if you’re 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you’re too skinny, and you be like ‘OMG I don’t have enough fat to put in my a–,’ so you result to a– shots, DON’T!”

In the past, Cardi B has shared that plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures gave her confidence after growing up with insecurities. She has been open about getting breast implants and butt augmentation procedures.

She has explained that growing up and being made fun of caused her to be very self-conscious. “Well, I’m from New York, right? And New York is a melting pot, especially where I grew up in the Bronx. I was really skinny when I was younger, and in the Bronx, it’s about being thick and having an ass so young boys would be like, ‘Look at your flat ass. You ain’t got no t—ies.’ And it would make me feel so ugly and undeveloped,” she told Interview in February 2021.

In the new video, Cardi B warns her fans specifically of getting Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL). “When it comes to BBLs, if y’all want advice from me, before you get your BBL done you have to make sure your blood levels are all right. If a doctor says your blood levels are too low or you have diabetes or whatever, don’t do it,” she cautioned.

Earlier this month, Cardi B shared an update on when she’ll be releasing her highly-anticipated sophomore album.

Many other celebrities have also regretted their cosmetic procedures, including Kim Kardashian, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gisele Bundchen, and Nicole Kidman.
