Chrissy and John were getting ready to lavish kids Miles and Luna is love and presents. It was a rocky year after Chrissy was wrapped up in a bullying scandal over the summer.

Talking about what she learned from the scandal during an appearance on the ‘Today’ show in Oct. 2021, she told Hoda Kotb, “I think you learn so much in the moments where you do lose so much, you lose it all, your world is kind of turned upside down.

“For me, it was a big moment of, ‘Wow, I need to find out how I can be better, how I can grow from this, learn from this,’” she added. “There’s that old cliché, like, I’m glad it happened, but truly it made me a stronger person, a better person.”
