Christina Applegate and her daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble, 12, attended the 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on February 27, 2023.

The actress, who was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role in Dead to Me, previously revealed the SAGs would be her “last awards show as an actor” following her multiple sclerosis diagnosis.

“It’s my last awards show as an actor probably, so it’s kind of a big deal,” she told the Los Angeles Times.

“Right now, I couldn’t imagine getting up at 5am and spending 12 to 14 hours on a set; I don’t have that in me at this moment.”

Applegate said she will aim to continue working in Hollywood, albeit not on the screen.

She told the publication she will be “doing a shit ton of voiceovers.”

She added: “To make some cash to make sure that my daughter’s fed and we’re homed.”

The Married… with Children, 51, has been candid about how her MS diagnosis has impacted her health and appearance.

After she was trolled over her red carpet appearance at the Critics Choice Awards in 2022, Applegate addressed the criticism to the LA Times.

“I gained 40 pounds because of inactivity and medications, and I didn’t look like myself, and I didn’t feel like myself,” she said.

“At some point, I was able to distance myself from my own ego and realise what a beautiful piece of television it was. All the scenes I wasn’t in were so much fun to see and experience for the very first time.”
