Elizabeth Hurley Stranded in Antigua Airport Amid Flight Delay For Over 20 Hours Along With Thousands of Other Holiday Travelers
Elizabeth Hurley is one frustrated traveler right now.
The 57-year-old actress revealed to fans that she’s stranded in Antigua following a delay in her flight that left her and thousands of others very angry about the situation.

According to People, the delay came after British Airways grounded flights across airports in England, the United States, and Canada due to issues with the aircraft’s flight planning software which allows pilots to become familiarized with the weather conditions during their flight travel.
The software was being upgraded, and in turn, caused multiple delays and some cancellations.
Elizabeth took to social media about the delay, revealing she’d been at an airport in Antigua for twenty hours
“Still stranded- no food, water or hotel. Pretty dodgy service @British_Airways,” she wrote. “Still nothing from @british_airways. Extraordinary service! Finally, managed to find a taxi ourselves to escape airport after more than 12 hours with no food or water #avoidflying.”
