Florence Pugh and Lisa Rinna Have Been Pen Pals for Three Years

The multicity fashion weeks is one of those few, but hallowed moments over the year when a bunch of stars dressed to the nines are tossed into rooms together. The “stars” can be anyone really, which is the exciting part. Over here is some lady from the meme du jour chatting with this year’s main Oscar contender. Over there is an up-and-coming young pop girlie sitting next to that old-society doyen just delivered in a black SUV from the Upper East Side. The mix can be powerful. 

And so when Oscar-nominated actrice Florence Pugh had her picture taken with fallen Real Housewife Lisa Rinna at the Harris Reed show on Thursday in London, I pushed my sunglasses down the bridge of my nose and said, “Well, well, well. Would you look-y here?” 

The picture of them is also a video, which offered a little more information about who these two are to each other.

“Have you guys met before?” asked the photog behind the camera.

“No!” Rinna answered. 

“Never. But we know each other really well,” Pugh added. 

“We love each other,” said Rinna. “I love her so much!”

Then, the anonymous interviewer asked Pugh, “Do you watch the Housewives?”

“Yes I do. Yes, indeed I do,” Pugh said. “You know we’ve been messaging for the last three years.”

So these two are pen pals! They talk! They’re long-lost friends who are meeting for the first time in person on the streets of London!

I guess my only remaining question here is this: Should we be worried about this? At all? Should we be concerned? Pugh has made it eminently clear that she does not want anyone to be worried about her when it comes to her relationships choices, and that likely goes for the platonic types too. It’s best to respect her three-year-old decision to DM in this case as well. It’s just, well, we’ve got our eyes on you, Rinna.
