Hallmark’s Mahogany Debuts First Christmas Movie ‘The Holiday Stocking’ – Watch A Sneak Peek!

This looks like an awkward family run-in!

Tamala Jones, Nadine Ellis, and BJ Britt run-in to each other at a Christmas market in this sneak peek from The Holiday Stocking, which is Mahogany’s first ever Christmas movie.

The movie will premiere tonight, Saturday, December 3 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Here’s the full summary: A newly trained angel on the verge of ascending, Robert Holiday (Mykelti Williamson) has one regret – that he never repaired the relationship between his two sisters Dani (Ellis) and Marlow (Jones), who grew apart after losing their mother.

Given 12 days to go back and mend his family, Robert reappears as RJ (Britt), an executive assistant representing Robert’s estate. To get his sisters to reconnect, he sets about recreating the one tradition that worked when they were kids – The Holiday Stocking game. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, their parents used to make the siblings play the game, in which they would search for the stocking and try to guess a riddle inside.

Whoever correctly guessed the riddle got to choose a good deed for the family to do together. Though the siblings were reluctant to volunteer, those were some of their happiest times together as a family. Dani now owns a successful advertising agency. In order to secure an important new investor, she is tasked with showing her philanthropy and community relations efforts.

Though Dani initially tries the easy way out of volunteering, she soon meets Wilson (Karon Joseph Riley), owner of a foundation she volunteers with, and finds herself enjoying the work…and Wilson’s company. Marlow, who took over running their late mother’s bakery, now has a daughter of her own, teenager Gia (Sariah Gerald).

Marlow agrees to play the Holiday Stocking game, in hopes of teaching Gia the importance of giving back. As Dani and Marlow volunteer together again, the ice begins to thaw and it seems that their sisterly bond is still there. As Christmas approaches, however, old misunderstandings resurface and RJ worries that his family will once again fall apart, before he must move on forever.
