The love fest between Harry Styles and Daryl Braithwaite continued at the UK singer’s final Australian Love on Tour show.

After Styles performed Braithwaite’s 1990 hit The Horses at his first show in Perth, the heartthrob ended his tour by inviting the Aussie music icon on stage with him in Sydney.

“I’ve been wanting to do that for seven years, boyhood dream complete,” Styles told fans after their duet, an attendee told 9Honey Celebrity.

The pair belted out the song along with over 70,000 others in the crowd – making for one epic singalong.

“It’s a Where Were You Moment in Australian entertainment history!” Accor Stadium tweeted of it’s gig.

“Pop icon Harry Styles has brought the curtain down on his tour in Australia with an amazing duo with Aussie legend Daryl Braithwaite . . .belting out a rendition of The Horses in front of 70k fans.”

The surprise on-stage addition got huge cheers from the audience as Styles introduced the 74-year-old during the song.

The dream duet came just hours after Braithwaite performed one of the 29-year-old’s hits at his own Sydney gig on Friday night at Taronga Zoo.

Footage shared to TikTok shows the legendary performer giving Styles “the ultimate compliment”, as fans said, at his event.

In the video, Braithwaite can be seen cheekily holding up a sign from a fan that said: “I had a ticket to see Harry but I picked you instead!”

He then broke out into song, covering Styles’ hit Watermelon Sugar.

Styles first performed The Horses at HBF Park in Perth on February 20, describing the tune as “catnip”.

“I can feel the Aussie coursing through my veins,” Styles said after singing the track.

“You don’t hear that song very much but when you get here, it’s like catnip.”

It has since featured in a number of his Australian shows as the former One Direction star made his way around the country.

Braithwaite even attended the Melbourne concert, taking to Facebook after hearing the classic performed, saying he was “overwhelmed”.

“Harry Styles is so good at what he does and they loved him,” he began.

“I was completely overwhelmed by the night. Now for Toronto. Thank you to Harry and his army.”

However, fans were quick to note that Styles didn’t perform the hit during his first Sydney show on Friday night – although, Saturday’s power play might explain why.

During Saturday’s second and final Sydney show, Styles also helped a pregnant fan with a gender reveal, announcing she was having a baby girl.

During his Aussie tour, the singer also helped one couple get engaged, as well as some fans come out to their friends and family in the audience.

Styles now heads to New Zealand, where he has a show in Auckland next week.
