Just one day after her amazing 40-game winning streak was snapped, Jeopardy champion Amy Schneider has signed with talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

The 42-year-old engineering manager from Oakland, California amassed a whopping $1,382,800 over her 40-game run, which ended on Wednesday when she lost to Chicago librarian Rhone Talsma.

While it’s unclear what the future holds for Schneider, she has certainly cemented her place in Jeopardy history after her epic run.

Schneider has become the most successful woman contestant in Jeopardy history, with her 40-game win streak behind only now-host Ken Jennings and his 74-game streak.

Her $1,382,000 in winnings is the highest ever for a female contestant and fourth all time, behind Jennings ($2,520,700), James Holzhauer ($2,462,216) and Matt Amodio ($1,518,601), whose 39-game streak she bested for the #2 spot.

Schneider will compete in the Tournament of Champions slated for this fall, though it’s unclear what her plans with CAA in the meantime may be.

After her historic run came to an end, Schneider reflected on her Jeopardy experience in a statement for the game show’s YouTube channel.

‘It’s really been an honor. To know that I’m one of the most successful people at a game I’ve loved since I was a kid, wanted to be on since I was a kid, and to know that I’m a part of its history now, I just don’t know how to process it,’ she said.

The video also revealed that 85% of the games she played were ‘runaway games,’ meaning where she amassed so much more than the other two contestants they had no chance of beating her in Final Jeopardy, plus 95% correct responses.

‘I am Amy Schneider, the person that I was before and still am, and I just had, you know, a great run on Jeopardy. That’s all,’ she concluded.

Her streak also lead to a bump in Jeopardy ratings, with the game show the most-watched non-football TV program, according to Nielsen.

She will also go down in history as the most successful trans contestant in Jeopardy history, an identity she acknowledged by wearing a transgender flag pin near Thanksgiving.
