Jim Edmonds Calls Out Ex Meghan For ‘Lying’ to Kids and Attending “Narcissist Retreat” as RHOC Alum Speaks

Jim Edmonds accused Meghan King of lying to their three kids, daughter Aspen, 5, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, 4, in an Instagram Story post on Thursday.

As the former Real Housewives of Orange County star attended what Jim referred to as a “narcissist retreat,” he took to social media to share that in addition to telling his daughter and sons that he didn’t want to see them, Meghan left the children with a nanny while denying him visitation.

“Sad when your ex tells the kids you don’t want to see them when you’re busy … Then doesn’t let you see them when she’s out of town,” read a message from “unknown” that Jim shared on February 9.

Meanwhile, on Meghan’s Story, the ex-RHOC cast member called out his supposed abuse and complained that no one, including her country club, will protect her amid their ongoing custody battle.

“I’m sick of verbal and emotional abuse not being classified as ‘abuse.’ The courts don’t help protect me, my country club doesn’t protect her, the police don’t enforce, lawyers don’t want to deal with this, so I’m taking matters into my own hands,” Meghan warned as she promoted her private blog.

Amid the online drama, Jim’s rep told Page Six that Meghan hired a nanny to care for Aspen, Hayes, and Hart this past weekend.

As RHOC fans may have seen, Meghan traveled to Sedona, Arizona, for a four-day Gaia Wellness retreat, which the outlet revealed featured a drumming circle “performed by the best Shamans, yogis, mystics, and licensed professionals,” and keynote speaker Allison Dubois, the psychic featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ “Dinner Party From Hell” episode amid season one.

“Jim thinks it’s really sad the kids are being left with a nanny instead of their father, who changed his Super Bowl plans so he could be with them. Hopefully Meghan enjoys her narcissism retreat,” the rep shared.

An insider also spoke to the outlet, saying that Jim had planned to travel to Las Vegas to attend the game but canceled after learning the kids would be with a nanny.

“At the last minute Meghan decides she would rather leave the kids with the nanny, so Jim is left with no Super Bowl plans and no kids,” the insider explained.

Last month, while appearing on the Hollywood Raw podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn, Jim addressed his co-parenting struggles with Meghan, accusing her of making an effort to embarrass and humiliate him before sharing a message with her.

“You tell the lawyers, you tell your friends, you wanna co-parent. But then every time I turn around you’re bashing me on every talk show, on every TV show, on every, you know, even the simplest post that she makes is taking a jab at me … Move on. You’ve been married, you’ve dated four different guys that have actually lived in your house with you for a period of time. You have kids. I’m the dad. Like, when are you going to stop putting all this in writing so the kids don’t see it?” he wondered.

Jim and Meghan called it quits on their five-year marriage in 2019.

Following their split, Jim married wife Kortnie O’Connor in Italy in September 2022, and Meghan enjoyed a two-month marriage to Cuffe Biden Owens, the nephew of President Joe Biden, beginning in October 2021.
