Katie Maloney Shares Status With Jax and Brittany After Stassi’s Wedding Drama, Talks “Messy” Scheana

Katie Maloney hasn’t spoken to Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright since the couple pulled out of Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark‘s May 2022 wedding in the final hours.

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night, the Vanderpump Rules star opened up about her divorce from Tom Schwartz as she shaded Scheana Shay and Raquel Leviss, admitted to being “salty” about the opening of Schwartz & Sandy’s, and dished on dating not as a “cougar,” but a “puma.”

“I haven’t talked to [Jax and Brittany] since that all happened,” Katie confirmed on the February 15 episode of WWHL. “I got a text message from Brittany the day we all left for the wedding saying she wasn’t going.”

Although Tom Sandoval has been accused of playing a role in Katie and Schwartz’s split, with Sandoval himself admitting he feels responsible, Katie denied he was to blame.

“It’s not [that] Sandoval is [to] blame. [It] is that Schwartz is just a p-ssy,” she clarified. “He prioritized Sandoval. So I don’t think it’s Sandoval’s fault it’s just like, Sandoval had a lot of influence over him, and he prioritized that influence over me.”

Looking back at the ultimatum she gave Schwartz ahead of their engagement, Katie said she has no regrets.

“He was dragging his feet and also just messing up, so I was at that point where I’m like, ‘Either we’re gonna do this and we’re gonna commit to something bigger in this relationship, or I’m gonna move on,’” she recalled. “And I wanted to be with him.”

During the latest episode of Pump Rules season 10, Scheana caused a stir as she informed Schwartz that Katie was seeing other people. And, when asked about the matter, Katie admitted she was “being intentionally messy.”

Katie then took aim at Schwartz, saying that he only claimed that dating would feel like cheating because he likes to be the “victim.”

“I think he just wants to be a victim always,” she shared.

As for whether she prefers Schwartz & Sandy’s or TomTom, Katie said she hasn’t “really spent a lot of time at Schwartz & Sandy’s” and noted that she feels “more at home” at TomTom.

Now that she and Schwartz are officially divorced, a decision that both she and Lala Kent, who was also a guest on Wednesday’s WWHL, agreed was the right choice, Katie, who said she was faithful to Schwartz during their marriage, is enjoying being single.

“Apparently, I’m a puma. I’m not old enough to be a cougar. They’re all young. I like it. The young ones are kind of where it’s at. I love young guys. I do,” Katie admitted.

And after host Andy Cohen asked, “Are young guys good in bed?,” Katie confirmed it, proclaiming, “Yeah! Yes.”

Although Katie is supportive of Schwartz’s business endeavors, especially now that they’re divorced, she admitted to being a bit bitter about Schwartz & Sandy’s.

“I was a little salty because so many people were coming up to me, being like, ‘Oh you’re here,’ like I didn’t have a place to be there.’ I just was feeling a little out of place, and it was uncomfortable a little bit,” she explained.

According to Katie, she never considered a reconciliation with Schwartz because it would “require a lot of work” and noted that her decision to end her marriage came after “so many conversations.”

Also, on WWHL, Katie said that when it comes to her and Raquel, they “stand as far away from each other as possible” and added that she never asked any of her friends to distance themselves from Schwartz after their split.

“I told no one to distance. We said, ‘No one picks sides,’” she revealed.
