Keith Richards and Patti Hansen are celebrating 43 years together and 39 years of wedded bliss.

The longtime couple honored hitting that milestone on Sunday by recreating the kiss they shared on that happy day in 1983. Hansen even broke out the original dress she wore for the occasion, which she still fits into perfectly. The pair’s 37-year-old daughter Theodora shared a photograph of the special moment on Instagram, writing, “A jubilee happened yesterday. My parents had a party where we celebrated my dad being another year older and that my parents have been married for 39 years (really it’s 43yrs of togetherness but we’ll go off the legitimacy of their 1983 Cabo wedding ).” The Rolling Stones guitarist also turned 79 on Sunday. She concluded, “I am so proud of this family. We’ve been through a lot but the love is so strong and powerful that it carries us forever forward on a cloud of compassion and courage. I love you mom and dad. You guys are my inspiration. And HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY dear Daddio.”

Richards also commemorated the big day on his personal Instagram account, sharing a photo of him playing the guitar for his new bride during their intimate Cabo San Lucas ceremony. He wrote alongside the shot, “Happy Anniversary, Patricia ❤️. Love, Keith.” The musician’s bandmate Mick Jagger also congratulated him on turning another year older, posting a carousel of images of the two of them together both on and off stage through the years, writing, “Happy birthday @officialkeef! Love Mick x”

Another reason Hansen and Richards have to celebrate is their continued good health. In 2010, the model revealed in an interview with Vogue that she was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2007 at the end of the Rolling Stones’ “Bigger Bang” tour after months of spotting and urinating blood. She told the magazine that a month after the diagnosis she was put on chemotherapy and three months after that underwent a complicated surgery to remove her bladder and reconstruct a new one out of her intestine. They also removed her appendix and performed a full hysterectomy. “The chemo is really horrible,” she said of the experience. “I don’t know how people get through it. I have friends who are on that wicked stuff for life. It’s so debilitating, so depressing. But it shrank the tumor. Cancer is such a friggin’ monster.”
