Marvel has released the first trailer for James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
An official trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 made its debut during this year’s CCXP in Brazil. Marvel has now dropped the sneak peek online, giving fans a first look at Vol. 3 a few days after the release of the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on the Disney Plus streaming service.

James Gunn recently opened up about the emotional production process of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which is his final Marvel project for the time being due to his exclusive contract with DC Studios. “Shooting the last-ever scene with all the Guardians for Vol. 3 was emotional for all of us. There were a lot of tears. And it wasn’t just for the characters,” Gunn said at the time.
The recent Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney Plus saw Drax and Mantis teaming up to kidnap Kevin Bacon so that the celebrity could cheer-up Peter Quill, a.k.a Star-Lord. The special also introduced audiences to Cosmo the Spacedog, a new addition to the Guardians.
