Marvel’s Disney Plus Series Secret Invasion Recruits Composer Kris Bowers

Kris Bowers has been tasked with creating the score for Marvel’s Disney Plus series Secret Invasion.

According to Film Music Reporter, Kris Bowers has signed on to score Secret Invasion. The upcoming Marvel series is based on the comic book storyline of the same name, which sees a group of shape-shifting aliens infiltrating Earth, including some of its most powerful figures.

Kris Bowers is no stranger to composing music for film and television. He has previously worked on several high-profile projects, including When They See Us, Bridgerton and Green Book. Bowers has also won multiple awards for his work, including a Daytime Emmy Award for The Snowy Day.

Who else is attached to the Secret Invasion series?

“Secret Invasion is a newly announced series heading to Disney Plus that stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos — characters who first met in Captain Marvel,” reads an official synopsis. “The crossover event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.”

Developed by Kyle Bradstreet, Secret Invasion also stars Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Don Cheadle, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, and Carmen Ejogo. Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim directed the six-episode series.
