Meredith Marks Addresses if Jen Shah Will Attend RHOSCL Reunion, Plus Talks Feud With Lisa Barlow and Denies Calling Lisa's Home "Sh**ty," Plus Live Viewing Thread

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Meredith Marks has had a bumpy relationship with co-star Jen Shah over the past couple of seasons of the Utah-based reality show.

The two have gone from friends to enemies to reconciling. The duo is seemingly in a good place presently, and with Jen’s sentencing verdict for conspiracy to commit wire fraud to be handed down in the new year, Meredith has hope that Jen will be able to attend the RHOSLC season three reunion.

“I certainly hope that Jen has the chance to have a voice,” Meridith told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-tea podcast live taping at City Winery in New York City on Monday.

“Obviously as the season progresses and transpires, she’s hearing things that she didn’t know about — that’s what happens to all of us, and so for her to not have a chance to address that, to me, would be very sad,” the jewelry designer said.

Jen’s future with RHOSLC has been a topic of conversation ever since BravoCon 2022. During the convention, Andy Cohen seemingly revealed that Bravo was severing ties with Jen after she pled guilty to charges of wire fraud and running a telemarketing scheme that mostly targeted the elderly.

“Once we wrapped [season three and] she pled guilty, I think that was kind of, unfortunately, the end of, you know, the engagement there,” Andy said in October. “But I hope to sit down with her and talk to her at some point on camera because I have a lot of questions for her.”

The Watch What Happens Live host’s remarks were met with criticism from fans who believed the “Shah-mazing” reality star was being unfairly treated. They also felt that there was a double standard being applied to Jen. After all, production waited on Real Housewives of New Jersey OG Teresa Giudice to serve nearly a whole year in federal prison before beginning production and allowing her to return to the show full-time.

This was a point that did not go unacknowledged by Jen.

Meredith added during the interview that she believes it will be a “huge loss” to let Jen go as she makes for “great television.”

Jen’s sentencing was originally slated for December 15, 2022, but it was pushed back to January 2023 at the request of Jen. It’s unclear if the new date will conflict with the reunion taping.

Another subject that Meredith touched on during her sitdown with the live podcast was her relationship with former friend and co-star Lisa Barlow.

Lisa infamously had a “hot-mic” moment where she let into Meredith, labeling her a “whore” who “f***ed half of New York.” The two have yet to fully recover, and the repercussions will play out well into season three of RHOSLC.

In addition to Lisa’s expletive-filled rant, she also accused Meredith of making fun of her Salt Lake City home and its renovations, allegedly calling it “sh**ty.” This was a claim Meredith vehemently denied, calling the accusation “absurd.”

“Somebody had just told me that you were making fun of my renovation and stuff, and I was just like upset… You said I live in a s—tty house,” Lisa claimed during the RHOSLC season two reunion.

“First of all, I never even saw her house finished — she doesn’t invite people over, so I’ve been to her house twice,” Meredith stated matter-of-factly. “I mean it was absurd! Of course, I didn’t say that because they [the renovations] weren’t even finished.”
