In 2015, an attempt was made at creating a legacy sequel to a beloved classic franchise, Vacation. While most critics and audience members felt that this iteration wasn’t on the level of some of the originals, there was still fun to be had thanks to an impressive comedic cast.

Ed Helms (The Office) and Christina Applegate (Dead to Me) lead the way as a grown-up Rusty Griswold and his wife Debbie, as they embark on a vacation with their kids. Of course, it comes with the zany antics and situations that the series became so popular for.

Actors like Kate Hudson are well-known and have plenty of accolades to their names yet they still make time to show up in lesser-known films. For Hudson, one of those is A Little Bit of Heaven, which is a drama coming to Redbox in February.

The romantic-comedy drama centers on a woman (Hudson) who changes her ways of avoiding intimacy when she learns she has a terminal illness. Hudson is joined by a stellar supporting cast including Whoopi Goldberg, Gael Garcia Bernal, Rosemarie DeWitt, Peter Dinklage, and more.

Hurricane Season (2009)

Hollywood history is littered with football films that are iconic, leaving room for many to fly under the radar. Among them is Hurricane Season, a straight-to-DVD release starring Forest Whitaker, Taraji P. Henson, and rappers Lil Wayne and Bow Wow, which will now be available on Redbox.

The original plan was for a major release but several delays caused it to end up hitting shelves instead but that doesn’t take away from the film’s quality. The performances by the legendary cast and the touching plot based on the true story of John Ehret High School’s state championship after Hurricane Katrina are highlights.
