Chantel Everett from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise recently showed off the fruits of her labor and wowed her followers with a photo of her brand-new Mercedes-Benz. Though Chantel made her franchise debut on 90 Day Fiancé season 4, it was on her spin-off, The Family Chantel, that viewers got to see more of her tumultuous relationship with ex-husband Pedro Jimeno. Pedro came under fire for calling Chantel “lazy,” despite the fact that Chantel works long hours as a nurse. Since their split, Chantel has been making money as a travel nurse and is living her best life, traveling and treating herself.

In a recent Instagram post, 90 Day Fiancé’s Chantel Everett shared a video of her posing next to her newly-purchased Mercedes-Benz. The black car has a large red bow on the hood, and Chantel seems thrilled to have such a sleek new ride. In the caption, Chantel thanked the dealership and recommended it to her followers. Chantel received many supportive comments, including a “congratulations” from franchise alum Yara Zaya, and her brother, Riverknight Everett, who exclaimed the fancy car was “Big dog s**t!!!”

90 Day Fiancé Fans Are Conflicted About Chantel’s Purchase

Many commenters applauded Chantel’s purchase, as they felt her hard work and long hours are paying off. One fan pointed out that Chantel has been driving the same car since her 90 Day Fiancé franchise debut in 2016 and “never complained.” However, there were others, seemingly Pedro supporters, who took issue with Chantel’s expensive purchase. During Chantel and Pedro’s dramatic breakup, Chantel cleaned out their joint bank account to the tune of $257K. Chantel’s critics in the comments claimed her new ride was purchased with Pedro’s hard-earned money, which Chantel had no right to take.

Though Chantel has received criticism for emptying her and Pedro’s bank account, the truth is, there’s no way for fans to know how much of that money was earned by Chantel versus Pedro. As a nurse, Chantel likely made significantly more money than Pedro during their marriage, as he had immigration restrictions preventing him from working for some of that time. So, it’s entirely possible that the money Chantel removed from their bank account was earned by her. Pedro appears to be doing well for himself now as a realtor, but then again, so is Chantel. She posts regularly about her long hours and numerous shifts, and that hard work seems to be paying off.

If Chantel is working as hard as she claims to be, then she certainly has every right to treat herself to something special. A new Mercedes is a great way to spoil yourself, and after everything Chantel went through with Pedro, it makes sense that she feels that she deserves something special. The 90 Day Fiancé star works hard and plays hard, and Chantel will surely enjoy her new ride.
