90 Day Fiancé couple Zied Hakimi and Rebecca Parrott are still going strong in 2023, as indicated by a heartfelt Instagram post Zied penned for his wife on her birthday. The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days pair initially weren’t expected to last long, but their relationship has stood the test of time. Now, Zied and Rebecca’s relationship appears to be one of the strongest in the franchise, and the two regularly post about each other on social media.

90 Day Fiancé’s Zied Hakimi took to Instagram to wish his wife Rebecca a happy birthday, in a heartfelt caption shared with a photo of the two of them.

“It seems that everyone knows you turned a year older except me. In my eyes, you are exactly the way that you were when I met you for the first time, stunning and gorgeous. I LOVE YOU BIKOU Happy birthday my baby,” Zied wrote to Rebecca, before calling her his best friend. The sweet caption clearly touched Rebecca, who quickly wrote back to her husband. “Oh babe that’s the most romantic thing ever. I love you more than all the sand in the Sahara! Thank you for being my best friend every day,” Rebecca wrote on Instagram just weeks after she penned her own kind post for Zied.

Zied’s heartfelt post to his wife Rebecca earned him praise, though many commenters weren’t thrilled with the choice of photo. Numerous fans noted that Rebecca appeared heavily edited in the image Zied selected. “We All know Rebecca don’t look like that. To [sic] hot on them filters afraid of her real look and age. if zied still like it. Why so much filters,” one fan asked. “Beautiful picture, to [sic] bad she doesn’t look like that. She is pretty but this picture is photoshopped,” another frustrated commenter griped. “Girl chill with the filters seriously ur very attractive and this is getting ridiculous now,” another 90 Day Fiancé fan wrote as they called out Rebecca.

What Are Zied & Rebecca Up To In 2023?

Zied and Rebecca may have started out on a rough note, as Rebecca was accused of being a catfish, due to her heavily-edited photos that she shared before they met in person. However, Zied and Rebecca enjoyed a loving year in 2022 that left them in a great place for 2023. The couple spent a number of months in Zied’s native Tunisia. Though he ended up not returning to the U.S. with Rebecca due to visa issues, Zied quickly rejoined his wife. Zied and Rebecca closed out the year by spending Thanksgiving and Christmas together and being surrounded by Rebecca’s family. Rebecca appears to be doing well after having past health issues. She will soon be celebrating her three-year wedding anniversary with Zied on April 19.

While Zied and Rebecca do appear to have a happy marriage, they haven’t appeared in any franchise content since 90 Day Fiancé season 8. It was surprising that the couple didn’t appear on the next season of content, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, but Zied and Rebecca appear to be happy living in the real world rather than filming for TLC. The couple has strengthened their marriage and enjoyed living in the U.S., while also spending time with Zied’s family in Tunisia. Although Rebecca has faced controversy in the past, many commenters on the new post seem pleasantly surprised for the happy marriage Rebecca and Zied has formed and maintained over the years.
